Our exterior doors are produced from Merbau and are available in 39mm thickness. The panels used would depend on the pre-painting required for the door, a door using a transparent finish would have a solid laminated panel and if the door was to be primed using an opaque colour then the panels are produced from high quality exterior grade MDF. Our external doors can be supplied pre-lacquered using a water-based transparent lacquer or primed using RAL 7038 (light grey) / 9001 (white) / 7024 (dark grey) / 6009 (dark green). All our paints are imported from Europe as are many of the supporting materials used.
Doors using lambrisering have a different design on the inside of the door and are generally a flat plywood panel design on the interior side of the door.
Doors using raised mouldings are generally designed with the raised moulding on the outside of the door only.
All exterior doors are offered with a weather bar/rain deflector fixed on the door or by loose depending on customers request.
